A card-testing bot kept placing fake checkouts on Inlinex, our skate store. We built this to stop it, then made it an app any Shopify store can use.

Card testers and scrapers drive a real browser by software, often with no screen. The browser gives itself away, and those visits are stopped before they can add to cart.

Questions
When can I install it?
Bot Blocker is being prepared for the Shopify App Store. Once Shopify approves it, the install button will be on this page. Until then, the sample shows exactly what you'll get.
Will it block real customers?
It can flag a shopper whose VPN or work network runs through a data centre. That's why it starts in Watch only, shows you every network it would block, lets you allow any of them, and offers the "I'm a person" button. If a check can't be completed, the visitor is let through.
Will it slow my store down?
No. For normal shoppers the check runs once per visit, after the page has loaded. It adds no delay to what they see.
Does it stop every bot?
No tool does. Bot Blocker stops bots that load your store in a browser, which is how most card testers and scrapers work. Bots that call checkout links directly never load a page, so no theme app can see them.
How do I cancel?
Move back to the free plan or uninstall the app in your Shopify admin. Shopify stops the charge. Uninstalling also removes the script from your store.
